Dr. DiNapoli practices with Mayfield Brain & Spine in Norwood, Ohio, and serves as director of the brain tumor center at The Jewish Hospital-Mercy Health in Kenwood, Ohio.

GT Medical Technologies developed GammaTile Therapy — also known as surgically targeted radiation therapy — which was launched in January 2019 for the treatment of recurrent brain tumors.

GammaTile targets residual tumor cells while avoiding damage to healthy brain tissue.

Last month, the FDA approved its use for newly diagnosed malignant brain tumors.
