Illinois hospital expands Brain and Spine Institute

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill., is moving its Brain and Spine Institute into a new 5,700-square-foot facility, reports Journal & Topics.

The new center features 12 exam rooms and 12 consultation rooms.

The facility offers a new radiation therapy — the Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator — to treat brain and spinal tumors.
