Pennsylvania hospital adds sports medicine specialist — 3 things to know

Thomas Sisk, MD, is joining Monongahela (Pa.) Valley Hospital and Mon-Vale Primary Care Practices, the Herald-Standard reports.

What you should know:

1. Dr. Sisk will begin seeing patients in mid-February at the hospital’s primary care office in Finleyville, Pa.

2. He is a family medicine physician certified in primary care sports medicine. His experience includes musculoskeletal ultrasound and urgent care services.

3. He has provided care for the Pittsburgh Penguins NHL team, WWE athletes and Cirque du Soleil performers, as well as local high school and college athletes.
