Sports medicine physician joins North Carolina organization

Family and sports medicine physician Kyle Judkins, DO, joined Pardee Family and Sports Medicine in Mills River, N.C., Hendersonville Lightning reports.

What you should know:

1. Dr. Judkins specializes in urgent care, osteopathic manipulative medicine and sports medicine.

2. His special interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound-guided joint and tendon sheath injections, and athletic injury treatment and prevention.

3. Dr. Judkins graduated from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Va.

4. He completed internship and residency training at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, N.C., as well as fellowship training at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, N.C.

5. Pardee Family and Sports Medicine is part of Hendersonville, N.C.-based Pardee UNC Health Care, which also onboarded vascular surgeon John Hobson, MD.
