Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush hires Dr. Elizabeth Pieroth to tackle concussions

Clinical neuropsychologist Elizabeth Pieroth, PsyD, was appointed director of the concussion program at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago, effective March 1.

Dr. Pieroth has been involved in the assessment of NHL players since 1997 and is codirector of the NFL Neuropsychology Consulting Program.

She is the head injury/concussion specialist for the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox and Fire as well as the NWSL.

Dr. Pieroth will see patients at MOR locations in Chicago and Oak Brook, Ill.
