Life Spine receives FDA clearance for titanium lateral expandable spacer

The FDA recently provided Life Spine 510(k) clearance for Longbow, its titanium lateral expandable spacer system.

Three things to know:

1. The Longbow spacer can achieve up to 12mm of anterior to posterior expansion, allowing for a contracted insertion size of 15mm.

2. It can be post-packed after expansion with up to 11cc of graft to fill the titanium implant.

3. Longbow features Life Spine’s Osseo-Loc surface technology, which promotes bone growth and enhances intervertebral stability.
