West End Orthopaedic Expands, Becomes OrthoVirginia

West End Orthopaedic Clinic, a Richmond, Va.-based orthopedic practice, has changed its name to OrthoVirginia and opened a new location focused on orthopedics and sports medicine, according to a practice news release.

The new location in Chippenham, Va., will include diagnostic and treatment of a range of orthopedic issues, physician and occupational therapy and imaging services. The location will also be the future home of the HCA Virginia Sports Medicine Clinic, scheduled to open in 2012 and offer wellness, performance training and sports medicine.

The practice also plans on opening a new outpatient surgical facility at the new location in 2012. OrthoVirginia currently includes 40 physicians in multiple specialties and 11 office locations around the state.
