Three things to know:
1. The system’s dual-mobility implants have a smaller diameter femoral head than traditional solutions. The head locks into a larger polyethylene insert to increase stability and improve range of motion.
2. OR3O features Smith+Nephew’s Oxinium Diffusion Hardened metal alloy and Verilast technology. It is designed to cause less wear than competing products that use cobalt-chrome.
3. Smith+Nephew’s OR3O Dual Mobility System is available in the United States for both primary and revision applications. It offers cross-compatibility with the R3 and REDAPT acetabular systems.
