Portsmouth, N.H.-based Atlantic Orthopedics & Sports Medicine added Matthew Quitkin, MD, to its practice on Nov. 1, reports Fosters.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. Quitkin is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery.

2. He focuses on trauma, congenital abnormalities, nerve, tendon and ligament disorders, arthritis, tumors, arthroscopy and reconstructive surgery.

3. AOSM has a second location in York, Maine, and the practice’s physicians have hospital privileges at both Portsmouth (N.H.) Regional Hospital and York Hospital in Maine.
