2. Throughout his career, Dr. Livingston has developed a reputation as a leader in academic trauma surgery. He has made several innovative research discoveries during that time.

3. Dr. Livingston has long been involved with AAST. He served on the organization’s board of managers in 2018 and served as a member-at-large from 2015 to 2018.

4. As president, Dr. Livingston will chair AAST’s membership committee, board of managers, and scholarships, awards and development committee. He’ll serve as a member on the executive, program and nominating committees.
