Dr. Saksith Smithason to see patients at Southeastern multispecialty clinic

Saksith Smithason, MD, of Lumberton, N.C.-based Southeastern Health will begin treating patients at Southeastern Multi-Specialty and Urgent Care Whiteville, N.C., reports The Fayetteville Observer.

Dr. Smithason focuses on brain tumor surgeries, strokes, surgery for hydrocephalus and minimally invasive spine surgery.

He joined Southeastern Health in 2013 and has completed three fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic — a research fellowship, clinical fellowship and clinical fellowship in epilepsy surgery.

Dr. Smithason also sees patients at Southeastern Neurological Center in Lumberton.
