MIT, GE Healthcare partner in AI, telemedicine research

GE Healthcare is sponsoring Cambridge-based Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Catalyst health research program at the University of Debrecen in Hungary next year, reports Hungary Today.

Three insights:

1. The program will include research and training development with a focus on telemedicine, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and sports medicine.

2. The aim of the program is to create a shift in research, training researchers to better apply the outcome of their research and have real world applications and impact.
