Christus establish new sports medicine program

Irving, Texas-based Christus Health established a new sports medicine program at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Sulphur Springs, reports KSST Radio.

CTMFSS physicians will be made more available to athletes of Sulphur Springs High School.

The emergency department at CTMFSS will host a free sports injury clinic every Saturday.

Sports medicine physicians will evaluate all musculoskeletal injuries and offer same-day MRI scans for all athletes from middle school to college, excluding concussions.
