New York hospital opens upgraded orthopedic surgery center — 3 insights

Good Samaritan Hospital completed a series of upgrades surrounding its Orthopedic Surgery Center, the Rockland County Times reports.

1. Suffern, N.Y.-based Good Samaritan Hospital held a ceremonial ribbon cutting for the upgraded unit Aug. 20.

2. The 10,000-square-foot surgery center has 14 private recovery rooms, a multipurpose room for patient education and dining, and a physical therapy gym.

3. The hospital built a separate, private entrance for the surgery center, featuring a program concierge to assist patients.
