Dr. Mark Lyerly joins WVU Medicine Brain and Spine

Neurosurgeon Mark Lyerly, MD, was added to the surgical staff at Martinsburg, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine Brain and Spine, according to The Journal.

Dr. Lyerly focuses on brain and spinal tumors, complex spine, minimally invasive spine and peripheral nerve disorders among others.

He was in private practice in North Carolina for nearly 25 years and arrives from his most recent practice, Neurosurgical Solutions, PA in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Dr. Lyerly is a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and an assistant professor for WVU School of Medicine.

He is accepting patients at WVU Medicine Brain and Spine, which is operated by Morgantown, W.Va.-based University Health Associates.
