Orthopedic group plans for administrator’s exit, names executive director — 3 details

With practice administrator Tom Steltenkamp planning to retire within five years, Ellis & Badenhausen Orthopaedics named a new executive director.

Three details:

1. Brent Norton was promoted to executive director of the Louisville-based practice, effective July 1.

2. Mr. Steltenkamp will continue serving as practice administrator for now. He joined E&B in 1985 and helped grow the Dr. Rudy J. Ellis Sports Medicine Center.

3. Mr. Norton joined the Dr. Rudy J. Ellis Sports Medicine Center in 1999. After a two-year stint with Mercy Healthcare System in Lake Geneva, Ill., Mr. Norton returned to E&B as an office manager and clinical outreach athletic trainer. He became associate administrator in 2014.
