The chair distinction honors Dr. Limbrick’s commitment to studying and treating neurological conditions. He is the lead researcher for a major clinical trial examining treatment for infants with hydrocephalus as well as the Park-Reeves Syringomyelia Research Consortium and its trial examining treatment for Chiari I malformation.
Dr. Limbrick is currently a professor of neurosurgery and pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine. He serves as the director of the pediatric neurosurgery division at the School of Medicine and the neurosurgeon-in-chief at St. Louis Children’s.
Dr. Limbrick’s accomplishments include the Public Service Citation for young neurosurgeons from the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He also earned the Washington University Humanism in Medicine Award.
