Texas iSports center to break ground this week — 3 details

The groundbreaking ceremony for the iSports Training and Performance Center in Cedar Park, Texas, is set to take place this week, reports Patch.

Three details:

1. The iSports center will serve as a medical sports facility merging multispecialty sports tenants, sports medicine, restaurants and retail sites.

2. The 206,000-square-foot facility will feature two NHL-sized ice rinks and both an indoor and outdoor turf field.

3. The mayor, notable sports stars and the project’s financial backers will appear at the groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday May 22.
