The celebration also included free tours of the hospital’s operating rooms and demonstrations on tying sutures. The stand-alone facility was founded in 1991 as a joint venture between physicians and Intermountain Healthcare.
The 36-bed hospital now includes capabilities for orthopedic surgery, research, sports performance training, comprehensive physical therapy, nutrition and biomechanical engineering.
