1. Rush University System for Health is appointing Dr. Ranga Krishnan, MB to serve as CEO, and Rush University Medical Center is appointing Omar Lateef, MD, CEO.

2. The appointments are the result of a 14-month succession planning process.

3. Dr. Krishnan is Rush Medical College’s current dean and the medical center’s senior vice president.

4. Dr. Lateef is the system’s CMO and is the medical center’s senior vice president of medical affairs.

5. Dr. Goodman served as the medical center’s CEO since February 2002. He became Rush’s CEO when it was formed in March 2017.
