Duke seeks orthopedic trauma surgeon: 4 notes

Durham, N.C.-based Duke University is seeking an orthopedic trauma surgeon, according to a NEJM Career Center job posting.

Four notes:

1. The new faculty member will be part of the orthopedic trauma team largely based at Duke University Hospital in Durham, a level 1 trauma center.

2. The surgeon will develop an academic program in collaboration with research faculty.

3. The surgeon may develop an elective practice in another clinical area in addition to this role.

4. Applicants should be board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeons with trauma fellowship training. Interested candidates should apply with a CV and letter of interest.
