Dr. Altiok is also affiliated with Chicago-based Rush University School of Medicine, where he serves as an associate orthopedics professor.
His specialties include foot deformities, hip disorders and hip dysplasia as well as limb lengthening and reconstruction.
In 2018, Chicago Magazine recognized Dr. Altiok as a Top Doctor.
Dr. Altiok is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and Gait and Clinical Movement Society.
After earning his medical degree from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, Dr. Altiok completed his residencies at Izmir, Turkey-based Tepecik Hospital and University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. He underwent pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship training at Dallas-based Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children — Chicago and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
