With expertise in hand, shoulder and elbow conditions, Dr. Merlin’s additional specialties include wrist arthroscopy, upper extremity joint replacement and reconstruction as well as soft tissue injuries.
Dr. Merlin has authored articles on total elbow arthroplasty and distal radius fractures, among other topics, for a variety of publications.
He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and American Association for Hand Surgery.
After earning his medical degree from and completing his residency at Boston University Medical Center, Dr. Merlin underwent hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery fellowship training at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center.
