1. Under the agreement, OIC will provide general sports medicine services and serve as Gameday’s medical director for the organization’s greater Los Angeles-based programs.
2. OIC will also contribute physician referrals, make return-to-play decisions and offer education to athletes, parents and coaches on sports medicine-related issues such as injury prevention.
3. Gameday provides athletic training services and works with club programs, tournaments and high schools on-site during competitions, events and practices.
4. OIC focuses on musculoskeletal conditions in children, and the hospital has more than 70,000 patient visits annually.
