1st cases performed with Integra XT Revision Total Ankle Replacement System: 3 things to know

Here are three things to know:

1. The system was one of the first FDA-cleared devices indicated for revision ankle arthroplasty. 

2. The implant features an augmented posterior sloped talus designed to address subsidence by rebuilding posterior talar height as well as an anatomic design, which is intended to mimic ankle’s natural kinematics for better postoperative function.

3. Integra XT is indicated for patients with ankle joints affected by severe rheumatoid, post-traumatic or degenerative arthritis. Components are only intended for cemented use.
