Dr. Answorth Allen Performs Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery on Knicks’ Toney Douglas

Answorth Allen, MD, team physician for the New York Knicks, recently performed arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn laborum in Knicks player Toney Douglas’ arm, according to a New York Daily News report.

Mr. Douglas reportedly played the entire regular season with the injury, which he suffered during a preseason game. He is expected to recover from the procedure in 12-16 weeks.
