Researchers compared the dual-pivot Empowr 3D Knee technology with a traditional total knee arthroplasty design. Compared to a competitive traditional implant, Empowr reduced patient dissatisfaction by 50 percent.

Empowr is designed to recreate the healthy knee’s natural dual-pivot motion pattern throughout the entire range of motion. Compared to a traditional implant, patients who received the Empowr technology were 25 percent more likely to report a more natural feeling knee.
