NuVasive to demonstrate Pulse surgical automation platform: 4 details

NuVasive will conduct live demonstrations of its Pulse surgical automation platform at the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, Sept. 26-29.

Here are four things to know:

1. The surgical platform incorporates mobile 3D-imaging technology from Siemens Healthineers’ Cios Spin device.

2. In addition to NuVasive’s neuromonitoring system, Pulse features the company’s NuvaMap OR surgical planning, rod bending, smart imaging, 2D and 3D navigation and automation.

3. Designed with wireless connectivity capability, the system allows everyone in the operating room to access the same information and independently execute tasks.

4. Surgeons reported applicability of the platform throughout the entire surgery and optimization of procedure workflow.
