Dr. Jagannathan specializes in spinal and cranial surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr. Jagannathan underwent spine fellowship training at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville and neuro-oncology fellowship training at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.
Dr. Jagannathan’s research has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed scientific journals. The American Association of Neurological Surgeons recognized him with the Synthes Award for craniofacial research and the Cone Pevehouse Award for socioeconomic research. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and American Medical Association, among other professional organizations. Crain’s Detroit Business recently profiled Dr. Jagannathan as part of a three-part feature on his practice.
