Medal Winning Olympian Joins Indiana Practice as Orthopedic Surgeon

Orthopedic surgeon Debi Thomas, MD, who won a bronze medal in women’s figure skating at the 1988 Winter Olympics, has joined the AP&S Clinic, a 70-physician multi-specialty clinic in Terre Haute, Ind., according to a release from AP&S Clinic.

Dr. Thomas earned her medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, finished a residency in orthopedic surgery at Charles R. Drew University in Los Angeles and completed this fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the Dorr Arthritis Institute in Los Angeles.

She comes to AP&S from the Carle Clinic in Champaign, Ill.
