Sports medicine physician joins James Madison University Athletics: 3 insights

Board-certified sports medicine physician Robert Kennedy, MD, joined Harrisonburg-Va.-based James Madison University Athletics, the Staunton News Leader reports.

Here are three things to know:

1. Dr. Kennedy will serve as the team physician for all JMU varsity athletes.

2. He joins JMU from Verona, Va.-based American Health & Wellness Institute.

3. In the past, Dr. Kennedy worked with athletes from Mishawaka, Ind.-based Bethel College, Notre Dame, Ind.-based St. Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame.
