Hill-Rom Receives Patent for Stretcher

Hill-Rom has received a patent for a stretcher that has a hand actuated wheel braking apparatus, according to a TMC Net report.

The stretcher was developed by eight co-inventors. It includes a frame, a plurality of casters coupled to the frame, a push handle graspable to maneuver the patient support apparatus along the floor and a break handle, according to the patent report.
