Eurocoating acquired Nanosurfaces Industries, the Italian manufacturing division of CoorsTek Medical, TCT Magazine reports.

Here are four things to know:

1. Eurocoating is a plasma spray coating and additive manufacturing company that develops orthopedic, spine, dental and trauma applications.

2. Eurocoating is a member of the Unitedcoatings Group. It offers contract manufacturing solutions for the orthopedics market to over 120 original equipment manufacturers.

3. Nanosurfaces offers design and manufacturing services to OEMs.

4. According to Nelso Antolotti, president and founder of the Unitedcoatings Group, Eurocoating aims to build an additive manufacturing “one stop shop” with the Nanosurfaces acquisition.
