Dr. LaRocca received his medical degree from the Philadelphia-based Jefferson Medical College, now known as the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. He underwent fellowship training in complex spinal reconstruction and management of neck and back disorders at the Boston-based New England Baptist Hospital.
Before attending medical school, Dr. LaRocca worked as a mechanical engineer. Dr. LaRocca is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the New Jersey Spine Society and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, among other professional organizations.
