$4.5M Renovation Expands Orthopedic & Neurosurgery Services at New Jersey’s Hunterdon Medical Center

Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, N.J., recently began construction on a $4.5 million project to upgrade its orthopedic and neurosurgery services, according to a hospital news release.

The renovations to the surgical suites include two new operating rooms, a family waiting room and a pre-operative patient are a as well as employee locker areas and education training rooms. The expansion also includes adding boom-mounted flat-screen monitors, endoscopic towers and video integration designed to put the operating room team at ease.

The project adds 2,018 square feet to the hospital, and about 40 new jobs.
