Dr. Coe’s clinical interests include minimally invasive spinal surgery, spinal reconstructive surgery, spinal disc arthroplasty, scoliosis surgery, spinal deformity and cervical spine surgery. He received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and underwent reconstructive spine surgery fellowship training at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Coe served as the chief of the spine surgery service at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He also served as chief of orthopedic surgery in Saudi Arabia and Iraq in support of Operation Desert Storm. Dr. Coe’s research has been published in several scientific journals, and he teaches other spine surgeons new techniques.
