SAS – International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery Calls Surgeons to Action

As concerns raise about the coverage and reimbursement policies that threaten access to spine surgery technologies, SAS – International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery is positioning itself to work with spine surgeons to identify these threats and device policy and advocacy strategies, according to an organization news release.

At the upcoming SAS11 Annual Meeting in Los Vegas, Frank Phillips, MD, and Paul Slosar, MD, will host a short session titled “Call to Action,” where they will highlight challenges surgeons now face and accept input on how the society can represent members and their interests.
