1. Mr. Lindgren underwent the procedure March 27.

2. This is Mr. Lindgren’s second Tommy John surgery. His first was in August 2016, while with the Yankees.

3. Dr. Andrews is a founding partner of Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine. He is one of the leading orthopedic surgeons in the world, and his center is internationally recognized for its sports medicine treatment.

4. Dr. Andrews is the Tampa Bay Rays’ orthopedic medical director.
