After earning his medical degree from Macon, Ga.-based Mercer University, he completed a residency at Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Bowerman began his private practice in Rome in 1996.
He specializes in performing total joint replacements.
Dr. Bowerman is an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons fellow and a member of the Medical Association of Georgia, among others.
He has a wife and three children.
