Here’s what you should know:
1. The Chicago Sports Summit committee will donate the funds to the nonprofit in January 2018.
2. The summit brought together sports icons and community leaders to discuss sports marketing and the latest innovations surrounding sports performance and injury prevention. The panel also featured a presentation on the importance of getting teenagers involved in sports and after school activities.
3. The event is hosted by Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. A heavy physician contingent spoke at the event including:

- Anthony Romeo, MD
- Charles Bush-Joseph, MD

4. This is the second year the Summit occurred. It raised funds for After School Matters in both instances.
