Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Kimberly Templeton of University of Kansas Medical Center

Kimberly Templeton, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.

Previously, Dr. Templeton was the director of musculoskeletal oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She has been elected twice as the president of the Kansas Orthopaedic Society and served as the president of the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society.

 

Dr. Templeton was the second woman inducted into the American Orthopaedic Association, where she remains an active member. Her clinical interests include metabolic bone disease and joint arthroplasty.

 

After earning her medical degree from the University of Missouri Columbia, Dr. Templeton completed her residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Templeton is also fellowship trained from Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital.
