Dr. Ryu earned his medical degree from UC San Diego. He completed an internship, residency and fellowship at Stanford (Calif.) University.
He specializes in cervical and lumbar disc replacement, acquired spinal disorders and disc arthroplasty, among several others.
Dr. Ryu earned a PhD in neuroscience at Boston-based Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Outside of work, he enjoys computers, food and wine and cars.
