Dr. Deviren is also a professor at the University of California San Francisco where he teaches students, residents, fellows and international scholars about clinical care, spinal disorder outcomes, spine biomechanics and spinal instrumentation.
Specializing in lumbar disc herniation, spine trauma and spinal cord tumors, Dr. Deviren has been published in the Journal of Neurosurgery, Journal of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and European Spine Journal.
Dr. Deviren earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Hacettepe University Medical School in Turkey. He underwent fellowship training at the University of California San Francisco.
