Here’s what you should know:
1. Artanim is in the midst of developing a product called HoloMed. HoloMed uses Microsoft’s HoloLens to create an accurate augmented reality rendering of where points and joints are on a patient. The result is similar to “X-Ray vision.”
2. The tool provides information on a range of movements, and physicians can save the videos capturing movement for examination and consultation.
3. Artanim is hoping the device will help physicians make prompt and accurate diagnoses.
4. Artanim also hopes HoloMed encourages the further development and adaptation of augmented reality in medicine.
