Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Rick Sasso of Indiana Spine Group

Rick Sasso, MD, is a spine surgeon and president of the Indiana Spine Group in Indianapolis.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Sasso serves as a professor and chief of spine surgery at Indianapolis-based Indiana University School of Medicine.

 

Dr. Sasso is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Cervical Spine Research Society, Scoliosis Research Society and International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.

 

After earning his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Sasso completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Dr. Sasso is also fellowship trained from Chicago-based Northwestern University and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
