Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Dan Guttman of Taos Orthopaedic Institute

Dan Guttman, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the Taos (N.M.) Orthopaedic Institute.

At Taos Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Guttman serves as chief of upper extremity surgery and hip arthritis surgery, co-director of orthopedic sports medicine, associate director of the research foundation and director of research.

 

Dr. Guttman is a clinical instructor at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He is a team physician for the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding.

 

After earning his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Guttman completed his residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Guttman underwent fellowship training at the Joint Replacement Institute in Los Angeles and New York University Hospital for

Joint Diseases in New York City.
