Orthopedic revenue per case:
•    The average gross charge per case for all regions was $8,973. The highest grossing region per case was the west, charging an average of $10,095 per case, which is $3,627 more than was reported in the lowest grossing region, the Midwest ($6,468).
•    The average net revenues per case were reported as $2,443 for all regions. The southwest region of the country reported the highest average net revenue per case, at $2,885, which is $843 higher than the net revenues reported in the Midwest and Northwest per case. Both regions reported an average of $2,012 per case, the lowest reported value.
•    The data from all facilities reported a 71.5 percent discount to charges.

Pain management revenue per case:

•    Average gross charges per pain management case for all regions was $3,835. The top grossing region, the southwest, reported average gross charges of $5,333 per case while the lowest grossing region, the southeast, reported average gross charges of $3,490 per case.
•    Average net revenues per case at facilities were $898. The southwest reported an average of $1,218 in net revenue per case, which is $557 more than the northeast, which reported the lowest average net revenue per case at $651.
•    The data from all facilities reported a 74.9 percent discount to charges.
