1. Dr. O’Malley of the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City performed the surgery on Mr. Patton’s fifth metatarsal in his left foot.

 

2. Timberwolves’ team orthopedic surgeon Diane Dahm, MD, of Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., assisted in the surgery.

 

3. Mr. Patton suffered the injury recently during a team workout.

 

4. Mr. Patten will not play in the upcoming NBA summer league and is sidelined indefinitely.
