Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Mark Prasarn of Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center

Mark Prasarn, MD, is a spine surgeon at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center in Houston.

With interests in arthritis surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery and vertebroplasty, Dr. Prasarn specializes in degenerative spine surgery, spine trauma and complex fractures.

 

Dr. Prasarn is the spine surgery consultant for the Houston Texans and the University of Houston. He is also a visiting spine fellow at the Houston-based MD Anderson Cancer Center.

 

After earning his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial. Dr. Prasarn is fellowship trained in spine surgery at the University of Rochester (N.Y.), as well as orthopedic trauma at the Hospital for Special

Surgery in New York City.
