Dr. Shim opened the practice in 1993.
He specializes in outpatient neck and back surgery and non-operative neck and back solutions.
Dr. Shim is a past chief of surgery in the Safety Harbor, Fla.-based Mease Hospital system.
He began his career after earning his medical degree from Syracuse-based State University of New York Health Sciences Center. He completed a residency at New York City-based Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship at Medford, Mass.-based Tufts University.
